At SWP, quality and compliance are central to everything we produce. Our mill operates under recognised New Zealand industry assurance programmes, ensuring our timber products meet strict national standards for treatment, grading, and performance.
Through the Treat Right Programme, our timber treatment processes are independently monitored and verified to meet the requirements of NZS 3640 and industry Standard Operating Procedures. This certification confirms that preservative treatment is applied correctly and consistently, providing confidence in the durability and reliability of our products.
In addition, SWP is a licensed member of the Grade Verified QA Programme, confirming that our timber grading systems meet the standards set under NZS 3622 for verification of timber properties. With independent auditing and verification through Grade Right (NZ) Ltd, customers can trust that the structural and engineering properties of our timber are accurately assessed and maintained.
