We actively support the development of our staff through industry training and recognised qualifications. In partnership with Waiariki Institute of Technology (Rotorua), we provide opportunities for employees to undertake training in key areas of the timber industry, including:
Timber Machining Apprenticeships (4-year programme)
Timber Grading
Timber Drying and Treatment
Wood Handling and Distribution
In addition to industry training, we place a strong focus on workplace safety and professional development. Through our Health and Safety Representative training programmes, employees are also given the opportunity to obtain Forklift, Tracks, and Wheels licences, helping to build practical skills while supporting safe and efficient operations across the mill.
